I have an affinity for funky things! I love modishness and unconventional designs.
Bouquet concept : (airy, funky, a bit whimsy, monochromatic, texture + bling accessories)
To compliment the regal tablescape, I created an harmonious burgundy bouquet of tinted thistle, cymbidium orchids, calla lilies and floral wire affixed with dendrobium orchid blooms to create an airy concept. The bouquet was collared with feathers. I accented the bouquet stem with black satin ribbon and burgundy velour material ( a piece of scrapbook paper) and bling accessories (my old prom earrings), lol - seriously! Old jewelry can make the best bouquet accessories!
Buttonholes to compliment : A mini cymbidium orchid accented with ulehe fern (monkey tails). Velour ribbon and floral wire complete the stem details.
Dendrobium orchid bloom buttonhole tailored with looped floral wire and beading.
Calla lily buttonhole accented with tinted thistle. Velour ribbon and floral wire dress the stem.
