Real Wedding: Maje' & Michael - The Attendants

A bride's got to have beautiful attendants, right?

From the bespoke bouquet to the glam accessories, Maje' dressed her attendants in floor-length, satin gowns adorned with onyx jewelry. 

 

The bridesmaid carried a monochromatic bouquet of fuchsia pink ranunculus and garden roses.

The bouquets were wrapped in black double satin ribbon embellished with pink pearl pins.

The guys, including this adorable ring bearer, wore pink ranunculus buttonholes.

The key to any wedding is selecting the right elements!  Maje' did just that by first selecting the perfect bouquet, then she glammed up everything else with beautiful accessories. A popular trend for brides is to purchase two pairs of shoes for their wedding, one pair for the ceremony and the second pair for the reception...

Real Wedding: Maje' & Michael - The Bespoke Bouquet

I seem to be a magnet for classy, modern brides! 

Maje' and Michael were the typical modern, classy couple who had a relish for a luxe wedding design concept embellished with simplicity, elegance and charm.  I enjoyed working with this couple! 

This wedding by far, is one of my faves!  There are many elements and alluring details about this wedding that I would like to highlight.  In order to capture all of these elements, this blog will be divided into multiple sections. 

First, we begin with "The Bouquet" ....

The bespoke peony bouquet dressed in 20 pearls inspired by the brides sorority, Alpha Kappa Alpha

The memento, an adorable bouquet charm dangled from the bouquet stem.

This bespoke bouquet was the perfect fit for Maje'.  The bouquet was not only a great fit for her wedding style but also a great compliment to her dress.  I highly encourage brides to select the bouquet of their dreams.  Even if this means, slashing a design concept elsewhere.  I also encourage brides to make sure their bouquet is an asset to their dress and overall wedding motif.

Real Wedding: Kimberly & Rashad Preview

Kimberly & Rashad were a blast to work with!  I loved every single detail and element about this wedding!  The wedding was beautifully captured by Dove Wedding Photography.

I made Kim a custom dendrobium orchid hairpiece which was a fabulous accessory to compliment her cropped hair style!

 Kim's bouquet was comprised of roses collared with ti leaves.  The bride's attendants wore floor length gowns accented with a chocolate brown satin sash.  They carried an array of cream roses.

The guys wore chocolate brown suits dressed with mini calla lily buttonholes.

 
Hydrangeas were the primary flower for the wedding reception.  The centerpieces were comprised of 4 ft tall manzanita branch and hydrangea designs. 

Kim kicked the heels to the curb for these comfy converse....
