WATER PEARLS
Finding non-floral event decor can be challenging, but with a little H20 and polymer pearls you can create magic! Polymer pearls expand when infused with water. They begin as tiny, iridescent sphere shaped pearls but after a few hours in water, they expand to a marble size sphere. One small bag of these pearls can make approximately 1.5 gallons of magic. The magic really occurs when your event is over because these pearls are reusable. Rinse off the dye, drain the water and expose them to air. Place in a zip lock bag and reuse them, re-dye them and start the MAGIC all over again!!!
Google Terms: Water Pearls, Polymer Pearls
These "water pearls" are great. I used them in a wedding a few weeks ago and got some really positive feedback. They are beautiful in a clear vase. From a distance, some people even thought they were faux diamonds. And, they are very inexpensive. A large package (around $6) will yield 5 gallons of them. Please read instructions carefully. These beads should not be disposed of in a sink or toilet as they continue to expand and will clog up the drain/tank. The only way to dissolve the pearls is with plenty of table salt that has to sit for at least 1 hour.
